I have to start off today’s post by stating that I’ve been looking for a pair of short black boots (a tad higher than ankle length) since last winter. With that said, I’m so excited to partner with Ariat and collaborate on a “Fall Style” post, and was even more excited when I laid eyes on these beautiful laser cut western boots. They are a perfect combination for me… chic with a touch of country, and I’ve been living in them non-stop since they arrived at my doorstep. A comfortable pair of boots is a non-negotiable for me during the cold months. They need to be practical, well-made and stylish. If you aren’t familiar with Ariat, your fall wishlist for boots is going to grow after you check out some of their newest styles! Ariat is an American shoe brand with an authentic equestrian heritage that beautifully translates into their designs. I paired these boots here with the most perfect shag cardigan, my favorite distressed denim, and wide-brim hat. Over the weekend, I wore them with a plaid shirt, even more distressed denim and favorite bag.
There’s always a fun part for YOU, don’t you even worry! You can enter to win a $250 Ariat gift card to pick out something from the Fall Collection using the Rafflecopter instructions below.
I picked out this gorgeous striped beaded dress from the H&M Studio Collection after attending the H&M & Vogue party during NYFW. I went up two sizes to allow for more of a shift feel (as opposed to a tighter bandage look) and loved it so much I ended up wearing it the same night! This dress unfortunately ended up selling out the same day, but there’s a chance you may find it in one of the stores!
Happy Friday! I have one last NYFW look for you next week and then it’s back to regularly scheduled fall programming. Have a great weekend!
It’s strange to think of three years of Oh So Glam. Part of me cannot even remember what life was like without it, and part of me can’t believe that three whole years went by. I’ve neglected these types of anniversary posts in the past. Why? One year just didn’t seem monumental enough for me. I mean, you always hear people always say, “it’s just a year.” Year two, I thought about it… but since I didn’t do anything for year one, I felt kind of silly. But THREE. That seemed like something to celebrate.
I collaborated with celebrity photographer, Lora Warnick, and her GLAM squad to put together a little celebration photoshoot last weekend! It was such a fun morning getting all dolled up and was something very different from my normal street style type of shoots. Huge thanks to the Lora Warnick team… it turned out better than I could have ever asked for!
Another huge thanks to you… my readers here on Oh So Glam. Thanks for taking time out of your day to follow along with me on my style journey. Without you, not only would I be talking to myself (sad, but true)… but I wouldn’t have any of the incredible opportunities that have presented themselves over the years without your support and love. Starting Oh So Glam has been an unbelievable experience. It has given me a ton of “pinch me” moments, brought some dear friends into my life, caused me to lose more than a few needed hours of sleep, taught me how to balance an insane schedule, brought me an enormous amount of passion for the industry, humbled me, and allowed me to really get to know myself on a level I hadn’t before. With hard work, dedication and passion… amazing things will happen to you, my friends. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love every single day. Cheers to another THREE (and many, many more).
