We (finally) had a beyond gorgeous weather weekend here in Connecticut and we took full advantage! I pulled out this embellished mini skirt I had been dying to wear and lightweight sweater from one of my favorite brands, Sanctuary. I’ve been living in their clothing recently… remember this floral bomber jacket? One of my favorite parts about putting together an outfit is adding an unexpected twist where I can. I’ve been on the military bandwagon for years and always love pairing these olive green staple pieces with some of my “girlier” outfits. This look is very reminiscent of this one from a few years back which ended up being one of my favorites. There’s something so cool and effortless about this combo that I’m bound to recreate it yet again soon enough.
Festival inspired wear isn’t really too different from my normal everyday style but I love that it gets a ton of attention each April! Luckily, items that I end up picking up for Festival Season last me longer than the few weeks and I’m able to mix and match pieces I already own to get the look. I’m back with Old Navy and this Bohemian printed dress that can take you from Festival Season right to the beach this summer. I fell in love with the suspended-neck, cutout detailing and gorgeous colors and print and knew I wanted it to be the anchor piece of this outfit. Add on a couple of staple summer accessories including this distressed denim jacket (love the wash on this one), panama hat and gladiator wedges, and you have a comfortable and accessible look perfect for any music festival. It literally pains me that I won’t be going to my favorite country festival this year (too many weddings) or this dress would 100% be coming along!
Old Navy has one of the best selections of festival wear around including eclectic prints, bohemian silhouettes and embroidery detailing, all at an amazing price point! Make sure to check out the entire festival collection!
