It’s Finally Here: Hartford Magazine’s Best Dressed Issue 2011

Yay! I can’t believe it’s finally out! I took these photos over a month ago for Hartford Magazine’s annual Best Dressed issue.  Here are two of the photos that were featured on the website.  I can’t wait to get home and see the print version in my mailbox! A shoutout to Paulette Mertes Studios in West Hartford for an amazing job, and of course, my lovely co-worker Marsha for submitting me!  Who would have ever thought?!

Lace

Top from 344, Seven for all Mankind jeggings, Steve Madden Intyse riding boots, Calvin Klein high-socks (via Marshalls), Michael Kors watch, David Yurman ring, Forever 21 bangles, Charming Charlie Boutique earrings, Ray Ban sunglasses.

I love this lace top that I got at 344 last spring and I’ve been able to wear it every season so far!  I bought these knee socks years ago and LOVE wearing them under boots with just a little of the knit showing at the top.  My riding boots have taken a beating since I practically live in them… I’ve already worn them several times as you’ve seen on my blog.  I find that the more worn-out they get, the better they look!  I’m so sad to see this beautiful weekend end, but check back for more pictures this week!

Fall Favorite: Fur Vest

Kenar Vest – TJ Maxx, James Perse top, Seven for all Mankind black skinnies, Nine West shoes, Michael Kors watch, bangle and Hamilton Tote, Forever 21 earrings.

I’m wearing my absolute favorite trend for this season, the (faux) fur vest! This piece keeps my boho-look alive for the fall and winter and most importantly, it’s cruelty free.  I also picked up these black skinny pants at one of my favorite discount department stores, Century 21 for $50! (Retail: $198)
