It’s a big week for sales. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (Early Access) begins this Thursday, 7/13 AND today is Amazon Prime Day. I mentioned it to my husband the other day and he said, “What the heck is Prime Day?” (hence, the name of this post), so I thought I’d give you all the scoop. Prime Day is Amazon’s largest sale event with more than 100,000 deals worldwide — and yes, it’s bigger than Black Friday. It’s a one day event, exclusive to Prime members through TODAY only. I got a sneak peek at the good stuff on sale over the last few weeks and woke up extra early to scour through the sale pages (and weed out all the crazy things currently at a discount)!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you’re currently a Prime member, you have access to the sale — this includes all memberships (trial, student, household, and fresh members). You can just start shopping — it’s as easy as that! There are Lightening Deals throughout the day — new deals will be posted every 5 minutes until 3am EST July 12th. Oh, and if you use Alexa, you can ask for deals (and if not, you should add an Amazon Echo to your wishlist, there are some crazy deals there, too). If you’re not a Prime member, it’s a great time to take advantage of their 30-day trial membership!

Ray Ban – these round sunglasses that I wear all the time are under $100 ($50 off)!
Luggage – Such a good deal for this set of spinner luggage!
Levis Denim Shorts – My favorite shorts are part of the sale!
