Hello, gals!  I’m back from NYFW for all of 72 hours before heading off to Lebanon and France this week!  NYFW was another blur of a weekend, but it was honestly such a fun trip!  My BFF Kristin was supposed to be my partner in crime this time around, but the weather situation in Charleston made her rethink her trip, and she ended up staying at home and taking precautions.  I missed her so much, but ended up trying to make the best of it and continued to do all the fun stuff we had planned solo. I have to start by saying that I’ve been thinking about everyone in FL and the southern states who were hit by Hurricane Irma.  With my aunts and cousins in Florida (Tampa, Boca Raton, and outside Palm Beach), and friends all over the state, my heart was aching the entire trip and I tried to keep a watch on what was going on every time I was in the hotel room.  It’s always very hard to keep going when there’s a disaster going on, but you have to.  I held on to my professional commitments and tried to make the most of the few days I was in NYC.

Kristin and I had made plans to do some shooting around the city weeks ago.  One of our blogger bucket list items was waking up early and shooting on the Brooklyn Bridge.  It was totally exhausting and a hike to get out to the center of the bridge right before sunrise, but totally worth it!  I was up and on the road from midtown Manhattan at 5:30AM with my new very dear friend Vicki Bartel.  We did some very fun photo shoots all over New York and finished our teamwork in Brooklyn!  I can’t wait to share everything here over the next week!

I wore this striped tie-front dress and platform loafers for an early morning of meetings and showroom visits!  I always love to use those “down” times to wear something comfortable and practical… usually because I’m running from appointment to appointment during rush hour traffic.  The weather was so crisp and cool (especially in the early morning), so I was so happy I remembered to pack this denim jacket for a much needed layer.

I have a jam packed week of content for you guys here on Oh So Glam.  I’m also SO EXCITED because I launched the new official Oh So Glam Newsletter while I was in NYC.  I’m going to be sharing exclusive content with my email subscribers that you won’t find on my blog or social media, so make sure to sign up!  I’ll be sending out my weekly newsletters each Sunday!

Absolutely love this look! I know that J.O.A. has that pattern in a few other styles as well, and I’m loving all of them. Also, have so much fun in Lebanon and France. I’ve never been to Lebanon, but France is one of my favorite places on Earth!
