Well, it’s actually here!  Our wedding weekend has officially kicked off and we are on our way to Lord Thompson Manor probably as you are reading this!  When planning our wedding, Raj and I knew this would be the perfect time to get all of our friends and family together and wanted to make a mini destination weekend out of it… one night just wasn’t going to cut it.  Lord Thompson Manor is actually only an hour away from us in upstate Connecticut, but we have the property all to ourselves for the next three days… so it will definitely feel like a little getaway for 140 of our loved ones.

I have to admit, I’m still waiting for that “bride” moment to kick in.  To me, I’m most excited to see all of our friends and family together, especially those who are traveling such a long way to share this experience with us.  Getting to marry the man I’ve already spent eight years building a life, a home and raising our little furbaby with is just icing on the beautiful four-tiered wedding cake.  I can’t wait to share more about our wedding in the coming months… you’ll definitely see some familiar faces!

A huge thank you to our wedding photographer, Rebecca Arthurs, for capturing these photos of us… we can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeves for this weekend.  Seriously, you are a rockstar.

Make sure to follow along with us #OnceUponATarabishy this weekend!
