Over It

Oh So Glam: Cozy Oh So Glam: Cozy Oh So Glam: Cozy Oh So Glam: Cozy Oh So Glam: Cozy Oh So Glam: Cozy{Oversized Cardigan: Old Navy (very old, similar here) || Sweater: Madewell || Jeans: c/o Maje (similar here) || Boots: c/o Elaine Turner (on sale!) || Bag: Celine || Sunglasses: Ray Ban}

I’ve reached that threshold where I simply cannot take winter any longer.  Not to say I’m ever a huge fan of winter, but there is a cozy factor leading up to the holidays where it feels nice to be snowed in and watch movies by the fire.  Then it’s post-holidays and then February and it’s still not over.  After the most amazing week in Cabo… to say I was shell shocked to come back to the east coast and still be buried under snow with negative temperatures would be an understatement.  It’s safe to say, I’m just over it.

After five full months of sweaters and boots, I could not be more ready for spring.  There is only so many ways to make an oversized sweater look somewhat cute and I’m passed the point of caring.  I was, however, excited to take these Elaine Turner boots out for a spin over the weekend.  I had picked them up when I visited the Madison Ave store in NYC during Fashion Week!  Although my sweaters and coats will SOON be taking a hike to the guest room closet where they will hibernate until October… my boots always remain and I love finding ways to wear them through the spring and summer.  Jean shorts anyone?!

    I love the cardigan! So cute & flattering! Couldn’t agree more, though, the winter has definitely been long enough 🙂

    Thanks for sharing!

    I’m feeling the same way! I cannot WAIT until I get to pack up all of my oversized sweaters and move them into storage. I’ve always loved the leggings, boots, and boyfriend sweater combo but I am starting to hate it and am feeling so uninspired.

    Here’s hoping that the weather changes SOON.

    PS love those booties!!

    It’s cardigans like yours that make me appreciate the winter cold a wee bit more. You’re looking oh-so-refreshed after Cabo, by the way! Cheers to warmer days ahead!

    I don’t blame you… this winter has been brutal! I’m trying to find ways to incorporate spring clothes that are still winter appropriate, just to give me a LITTLE bit of hope
