I’m about that point in the season where I just have a few of the same items on repeat — layering turtleneck, check! The same pair of black denim, check!  A statement belt to at least look like I tried, check!  I found this fringe cardigan sweater while doing a little perusing on Marks & Spencer for an upcoming project and could not resist adding it as a winter-to-spring transition piece!  Slouchy, open cardigans are just seasonless for me — I always love being able to throw on something easy and oversized no matter what time of year it is!  I absolutely love the detail on this one, and for around $50, you can’t beat the price tag for the quality — I’m wearing a UK size 8 for reference!

As you can see, I’m still all about statement belts.  I splurged on my double gold belt last year from B Low the Belt, but there are so many options now to get the look without the crazy price tag!  This one is super similar to the one I’m wearing above and under $30!  I recommend trying to buy a size that fits both around your hips and around your waist — I love the way these belts look with denim, but love them even more with dresses!  It gives a shapeless dress a more structured look and adds a touch of boho to any look.  You can see how I styled this belt with a maxi dress during NYFW last year HERE!  Statement belts are definitely staying in trend for 2017 — I’ve had my heart on this one since seeing it last summer in Italy, but it’s been sold out in my size everywhere!  I hesitated getting it there (my husband even got one), and I’ve been on a manhunt ever since!  Don’t you hate when that happens?!
