What To Wear to a Food & Wine Festival

Faithful The Brand Off-The-Shoulder Dress
Loeffler Randall Sneakers (similar under $80)
J. Crew Market Tote
BaubleBar Choker c/o

I had my eye on this dress for a while (since before Cabo) and finally took the plunge when I saw it come back in stock in my size.  Raj and I are heading to the West Hartford Wine & Food Festival in our town this weekend and then Newport, Rhode Island early next week, so I started thinking ahead for a few outfits I needed to plan for!  This dress is perfect for a wine and food festival — it’s cool enough for a hot summer day and leaves enough room for indulgences — I can tell you right now my plant-based diet is going out the window!  I highly suggest scooping this up if you have any food festivals on your summer agenda!  We’re so excited that our town — which is basically the food mecca of Connecticut — finally got a Wine & Food Fest of its own!  The festivities are coming right up, so if you’re a CT local with a free day on Saturday (6/17), you should definitely plan to come!  I’m actually going to be giving away a ticket to a lucky Oh So Glam follower over on my Instagram page today (a $150 value), so make sure to follow if you don’t already for all the deets on when the giveaway starts.  Hint: it will be later tonight!

I will likely be wearing these espadrille sneakers with whatever I end up wearing this weekend — the event is on grass, and I’ll be in no mood for fussy footwear.  I’ve had so many of you guys asking about duplicates to this pair I picked up last summer — I know they’re a bit pricey for sneakers, but I’ve found them to be so insanely comfortable (and durable) and I’ve probably worn them 50x at least.  I found an extremely similar pair (although, I can’t vouch for comfort) — but, they are under $80 and look identical!

Make sure to head over to my Instagram page now (and even turn on post notifications!) so you don’t miss the giveaway!  It will only run for 24 hours before I pick a winner and the ticket will be left at will call!  Hope I get to meet some of you there this weekend — you can find me glued to the Savoy Pizzeria station since I’m carb deprived.

I love this look! I am a sucker for all things off the shoulder right now. I can appreciate a girl who loves food and wine as much as me that she strategically plans a loose outfit for the event :). I have a pair of Loeffler Randall espadrilles that I got last summer and wear non-stop – I definitely think they are worth the price. Have fun at the event!

I think the shoes and romper are quite cute, but a purse full of flowers seems like a nightmare at a food and wine festival. The one’s I’ve been to are quite crowded, and I think trying to get up to a crowded table with a bag full of flowers would be quite hard, and the flowers would end up getting destroyed from all the bumps.
