Straw bags are ALL the rage again this season and it’s the perfect time to scoop up any you may have your heart set on — these styles tend to sell out in the middle of the season! I love using a straw bag to dress up a casual look, wear to a summer wedding, or just throw in my bag for traveling! I’m rounding up the ones I currently own and love (as well as some dupes in case you can’t hang with the price tag) + rounding up some other favorites that will get the job done!
Straw Circle Bag. I actually included this bag in my SPLURGE vs. STEAL series as an option for the Cult Gaia bamboo circle bag below (my mom found it and thought it would be a great option for under $60). I thought it was so cute, I needed it myself! I actually ordered this exact bag from HERE, but there are similar options at retailers as well!
Bamboo Bag. This is the OG bag that started this craze. I’ve NEVER received so many compliments on a bag in my life. It’s a true statement piece! Raj still to this day calls it, “sushi bag” and I love it just as much as the day I first saw it! If you love the look, but want a lower price tag, THIS BAG is identical and only $40!
Straw Tote. My old J. Crew market tote has been a staple of mine for years — it’s currently sold out, but they tend to restock in the summer, so I will keep my eyes peeled! I love having a bag that collapses so it’s super easy to travel with (for a beach bag).
Bamboo Circle Bag. Another statement piece, this came with me to The Bahamas and Miami and I used it most nights for dinner! While I love the look, it’s definitely not as practical (and a little hard to hold or keep on your shoulder), but it’s such a fun piece! Sometime’s fashion isn’t about being practical, you know what I mean?!?
Mini Straw Tote. Obsessed with this little nugget I got last summer! I love the black and white stripes and the little poms that hang off of it — it’s so fun to mix with a floral dress for some mixed print action and is such an easy go-to bag!
