Trend Edit: Embellished Sandals

These embellished jelly sandals were the MVP for my recent trip to Nantucket! I knew we were going to do so much walking, so I knew I wanted to bring a pair of flat sandals (the cobblestone in downtown Nantucket has a mind of its own). I also knew I wanted to have my foot strapped in so I was flip flopping around town… that gets old real fast. I looked around my closet and was outta luck so I ordered these at the LAST SECOND and they juuuust made it into my suitcase. We got delayed a day due to a tropical storm and if we hadn’t been delayed, these wouldn’t have made it, so ALL THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON! 😉 I’m so happy I got to bring them along because I wore them every single day we were there and I’ve worn them every single day since we got back. I love the idea of a flat sandal — but the little embellishment detail takes them up a few notches so you feel slightly dressed up without any discomfort! And the best part? These are actually a jelly material so they are waterproof and dirt proof. I’m telling you — I hit the sandal jackpot.

Unlucky for my wallet, they were a splurge. Stuart Weitzman makes some of my favorite shoes EVER that I end up having for years and years, so I knew they were an investment I’d likely have around a while. But, I found a ton of different options at all different price points to get the look if you don’t want to spend the cash!
