I thought it was time to dedicate a post to one of my favorite shirts I’ve ever owned.  You’ve likely seen me wear this a TON on Instagram and Snapchat over the past few months, and I couldn’t believe it never formally made it to the blog.  If you haven’t heard of Rails LA, it’s time to get acquainted.  Although I’m not a big believer on spending a TON of money on shirts (I’d rather save and spend it on bags, shoes and denim), I have to admit that I let that rule slip a lot when it comes to this brand.  I have a few of their flannel shirts (seen HERE AND HERE) which end up getting a ton of wear in the fall and winter, and normally wait for an annual sale to make a purchase.  In this case, I grabbed this one during the Bloomingdale’s sale earlier this spring and it’s already gotten its wear.  My two favorite flannel shirts (THIS ONE and THIS ONE) are also currently on sale for under $100 and you can get another 20% off (or 25% off with a Bloomingdale’s card) now through 6/26.  If I have one piece of advice, GET. ON. THAT.  You’ll thank me as soon as the weather cools down.

How to Wear Linen Shirt

I also grabbed these Levi’s jeans (under $90) during the Shopbop sale earlier this spring and since they were just a tad too long on me — I cut off the bottoms.  I’m usually not in the position to have to hem pants and call it laziness but, scissors, a pair of tweezers, and 5 minutes were all I needed to make it happen all on my own – it’s a good thing that raw hem is in style.  I kept them slightly longer so I can still roll them up when I want!

This neutral tote was also a little splurge from Italy – hey, when in Rome right?  We were actually in Florence, but who cares?!  You’ll be seeing her a ton on the blog from here on out!

Make sure to stop back tomorrow – I have a fun little post-wedding collaboration that I’m so excited to share!

Loving these stripes on you. I love this brand and it’s a good price for a good quality shirt.
