This has been my 11th straight season of attending New York Fashion Week — I’ve been going each September and February since 2012. While it’s definitely a glamorous week of runway shows, designer presentations, photoshoots, rooftop parties, and lot of champagne, it’s also a lot of work. As a content creator, not only do I want to see and experience every second of NYFW… I also want to document and share it it all with YOU! It means that everything I just spent shooting and capturing needs to be edited and published. And that takes some serious peace and quiet, which I usually need to do in some comfortable attire back in the hotel room.
When it comes to being in front of the camera and at all these fun events, I try to do it up and push myself to wear things I wouldn’t normally be able to in Connecticut. As soon as I’m back in the hotel and it’s time to bunker down and get to work… the dress comes off, the heels get thrown across the room, my hair goes up, and I usually throw on some sort of loungewear. I brought this Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Lite Montecito Cardi with me this time around and lived in it every single second I was back in the hotel.
Barefoot Dreams is the cream of the crop when it comes to comfortable clothing and they’ve updated their best selling cardigan. You all know how I’m always cold, so I try to make sure I have have a few layers with me when I travel… especially when I have to stay in a freezing hotel room. This oh-so-cozy cardigan is so thick and soft — it’s perfect for lounging at home, traveling, or even just throwing on with a pair of jeans and a tee. It’s so versatile!
QVC is actually running a special on this Barefoot Dream’s cozy cardigan through today only — it’s at the lowest price ever today at QVC for $79.98 (regularly $130) and and you NEED it! I just wore it on my trip to Lebanon — 10 hours on a plane overnight! I’m off to a Lebanese wedding today and I’m SO excited for some family time (and some good food) — make sure to follow along on Instagram!
