L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
I’ve been on a major beauty kick lately and feel like I have SO MUCH TO SHARE! After doing my tutorial over on my Instagram Stories two weekends ago, a reader reached out and asked what my favorite drugstore makeup finds are, since I had used a few drugstore products to create the look I wore to my brother-in-law’s wedding! I’m rounding up 5 of my favorite below and the best part is… not only can you get them at the drugstore, but they are also around (or under) $10!
PHYSICIANS FORMULA BUTTER HIGHLIGHTER
When I’m wearing makeup for a night out or an event, I always love to go for a matte complexion with a dusting of highlighter down the bridge of my nose, above and below my lips (to help the lipstick pop), down my cheekbone, and above the arch of my eyebrows. Since I’m usually pretty fair (and Casper-ish) around this time of year, I’ve been loving rose gold highligher — and this new Butter Highlighter rivals the designer versions I’ve tried in the past! It’s the most gorgeous color EVER and smells divine!
NYX MICRO BROW PENCIL
I tend to go through brow pencil the quickest out of all my makeup. Is it just me, or is there like NO product in there?! I absolutely LOVE this NYX brow pencil — it’s under $10, has an attached spoolie at the end, and the finest tip for very natural looking brows. The color I use most frequently is ash brown, but this brand has a ton of shades for a perfect match! I also love to mix the colors and apply a darker shade in the middle of my brows and a lighter brunette towards the center of my face!
REAL TECHNIQUES BLENDER
I was introduced to Real Techniques a few years ago for a beauty collaboration and have been hooked on this brand ever since. Some beauty blenders can run for $20 (ahem, ahem), and in my opinion, should be changed most frequently! They harbor so much bacteria and I love to toss them every few months and start fresh. This blender runs only $6, can be found at the drugstore, and is just as great as the big name brand!
L’OREAL INFALLIBLE MATTE LIPCOLOR
If you’ve been following me even for a little bit, you’ve probably seen me RAVE about this lip color. I’m pretty sure no other lip color will ever compete in my heart. I have tubes of the gloss, the matte gloss, and the paints and LOVE them all. But this matte liquid lipstick is the best that there is, and I’ve tried everything from Armani to the Kylie Lip Kit!
L’OREAL VOLUMINOUS LASH PARADISE
After letting my lash extensions grow out in the fall, I felt like I was really out if the lash circle. I started using this lash serum to promote growth (it takes about a solid month to see results, but once you do, it’s worth the price tag). I had heard great things about this Lash Paradise and LOVED the low price, since I tend to go through mascara almost just as quickly as I go through brow pencil! It makes my lashes so full (it seriously looks like I’m wearing eyeliner and I’m usually not) and adds length without looking spider-y!
What are some of your drugstore favorites?! I would love to give some of your favorite products a try and write another post with what I love and recommend!
