It’s officially the first day of fall 2021 which is CRAZY. To celebrate, I’ve put together a look book with some of my favorite previous fall looks with affordable pieces you can buy this year!
A poncho is one of those fall pieces that you can wear over anything in your wardrobe and you instantly look chic and put together. I seriously used to wear this style over jogger pants and a teeshirt — it was my favorite comfortable easy outfit of 2020. This poncho is under $20 and comes in so many colors and patterns.
This is an easy way to get some wear out of those denim shorts you aren’t ready to put away (or if you live in warmer temps but still want a fall vibe going). Add some booties, a wide brim fedora and a fun pop of color with a statement bag (I loooove this brand), and you have yourself a perfect transitional look.
A flannel shirt is one of those pieces you can have for years and years! I used to wear this as a button down with a pair of jeans all the time but have found myself getting more use wearing it open over a bodysuit and jeans or over a mini dress! I also love them tied around the waist for a little outfit personality. My exact style is Rails — I’ve been a fan of this brand for years and years, definitely worth the investment!
Looking for a dressy (but comfortably) chic look? Make sure to integrate neutral textures like knits and faux leather together! Leather pants are having such a moment this year (as is all leather) in so many styles so try to go after a pair of pants similar in cut to your favorite pair of denim. I’m on the hunt for a faux leather straight style!
An easy look that involves basics and some accessories! One of my go-to accessories is this Lack of Color hat (another investment I’ve had for years and years) but there are so many looks for less now!
