Fresh Spring Beauty Tutorial

Now that it finally feels like spring (and we’ve got the temps to prove it), I’m all about simplifying my beauty routine! We also have a few upcoming trips planned to some hot locations and I always try to downsize what I bring along with me. I’m working with Burt’s Bees® today to show you how to get a spring-ready look in just a few easy steps, whether you’re just trying to simplify or traveling this season!

1. BB CREAM. This new Burt’s Bees® BB Cream should be your new best friend. It comes in 3 mineral-rich shades and is really lightweight and hydrating – perfect for warmer weather when you don’t want to feel like you have caked-on makeup. PLUS, it also has SPF which is perfect for those days where you know you’ll be in the sun and still want protection. I apply the BB Cream with the EcoTools® Skin Perfection Brush, which makes application as easy as can be. This brush is designed specifically to apply the cream smoothly and evenly and is to easy to work into your skin.

2. Next, I use the NEW Blending & Bronzing Brush to apply a little bit of bronzer to my cheekbones, sides of my forehead, tip of my nose and my chin for a sun-kissed look. Since the brush is so soft, it makes it perfect for blending to help you achieve a natural look.

3. No look is complete without a little lip color and these Burt’s Bees® Lipsticks come in 14 shades. I’ve been drawn to neutral lips this year (as opposed to my love for bright coral shades in year’s past) so I’ve been loving Nile Nude, Blush Basin and Suede Splash. I use the Detailed Lip Liner Brush to line my lips with the slightly darker shade, Suede Splash, and then swiped Blush Basin over my lips to finish off the look!
