Layered Choker Necklaces

One of my favorite current trends is dainty gold layered necklaces — especially chokers!  While I love statement jewelry for events or special occasions (hint hint, something fun coming up), I love that you can wear daintier pieces with just about anything.  They even dress up a teeshirt and are practical enough to wear everyday.  There is definitely an art to layering necklaces correctly together so that they all compliment each other without one overpowering.  I love to have a layer close to my neck, one that dips slightly below and hits my collarbone, and then one that sits at the top of my chest (that’s usually the focal point).  It’s a bit of trial and error to make a few different necklaces all work together, and when I find a combo I like, I usually run with it.  I love to look at sites like Kendra Scott, which typically show separate necklaces layered together so you can replicate the look!  Luckily, brands are starting to intertwine these necklaces together and are selling them as ONE NECKLACE!  It takes the guesswork out, helps keep them separated so they don’t get as tangled throughout the day, and makes you look like you put in SO much effort with just one clasp.

For the layered look, look no further than some of my favorite jewelry brands below.  I’ve rounded up some of the best layered necklaces at a few different price points so you can rock the trend with me!  The best part?  This trend is seasonless, so you can wear your purchase throughout the year and stretch those dollars.  Want even better news?  My BaubleBar necklace above is part of the 30% off sitewide sale that launched TODAY and goes through 7/21 — just use code MOODLIFT30.  Happy shopping!

LOVE chokers, and layering just means more to love! My daughter layers different colors, textures, and styles . . . the more mismatched for her, the better! Such a fun trend. 🙂
