It’s February 1st — so I’m pulling out some pieces that will trick my mind into thinking that Spring is just around the corner.  My mood (and comfort zone) usually has me reaching for dark colors this time of year, but I’m forcing myself to look on the bright side.  It’s funny how a little pop of color can really pull you out of a funk, am I right!?  I’ve wanted one of these striped colored sweaters since late last year, but candy stripes aren’t typically my thing, so I loved this muted version.  The perfect amount of color for me without feeling overdone and too loud.  Plus, this sweater is under $50!

These jeans have also been a staple of mine and are under $100 — I love the high-rise and they have only gotten more comfortable with wear over the last two years!  I’m actually thinking of grabbing them in the darker wash as well!

These striped sweaters are going to be a huge trend into spring, so I’m rounding up a few of my other favorites at different price points below.  I love throwing on a light sweater with a pair of cutoffs, or even over a swimsuit when the sun sets in the summertime.

I like the way you’ve styled this casual outfit! You coat and trashed jeans are perfect!

I love pastels in the winter and this look definitely has that spring vibe to it. This look is so simple and easy yet still totally chic. Exactly what I want to be wearing this time of year, nothing that takes too much effort!
