It’s officially HERE! The 2020 GLAM Holiday Guide is LIVE and I’m SO excited to share with you all! I cannot believe this is our 4th time working on this guide — it’s always one of my favorite projects to create all year and I’ve been so excited to share! I know 2020 has us all celebrating the holidays a little different this year, but it doesn’t mean we can’t all still celebrate. I think we all need a little glitz and glam more than ever this year and while there’s still a ton of that in this year’s guide, I also included a lot more.
HOLIDAY STYLE AND BEUTY GUIDE
While we might be home this holiday season and not celebrating and sipping champagne at every holiday party — I know it’s important to still feel like we’re in the spirit. Sometimes, that’s throwing on an affordable (but GLAM) holiday dress and snapping a few photos in front of the tree! I also made sure to include a great roundup of practical coats and boots and plenty of cozy loungewear to get you through the cold season! And, maaaybe we’re going a touch lighter with the makeup this year?! So, I made sure to include a bunch of skincare tips: how to get the best at-home facial and some of my go-to skincare devices that you’ll LOVE (& won’t break the bank). I still made sure to include a makeup tutorial or two — I couldn’t help myself! Anyone doing a ZOOM holiday party?! 😉
RECIPES + HOLIDAY TRADITIONS
I made sure to include some of my best recipes for appetizers, cheese boards, some mocktails and some cocktails — Raj even finally shared his signature Manhattan that he keeps filed away! I also shared some of my favorite holiday traditions (and some fun ideas for you and the fam), one of my favorite childhood recipes my mom still makes, my favorite movies to watch during December, and my go-to playlist!
HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES
Finding the perfect gift is always a bit of a challenge, and with shipping concerns and tighter budgets this year, I know just how stressful it can be coming up with those ideas and then going on a search. I rounded up my top gift guides this year in one easy to find spot — hopefully you can get some ideas for your significant other, your parents and extended family, your pets, and some under $25, $50 and stocking stuffer ideas! I also included a roundup of my favorite local Connecticut small businesses I love to support!
The best part of this guide is that EVERYTHING is easily shoppable from the guide itself above. All you have to do is hover over the items that you see that you like, or something I am wearing, and you will see a nice easy little shopping cart that will take you to the retailer to shop. It’s as easy as that!
I hope this guide is helpful to you all this holiday season — even if you just take a few minutes to read as a welcome distraction from everything this year has thrown at us! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season, from my family to yours.
