Trend Edit: Combat Boots

Sweater (similar HERE and HERE) | Leather Pants (love this option too) | Combat Boots (run true to size)

I’ve added THREE pair of combat boots to my wardrobe this year, so you know that means I really love the trend.  I got this pair of Frye boots during the summer for our trip to Colorado — they are a rustic, hiking boot, extremely durable, and a pair of boots you can really rough up without worry, they seem to look even better with a few scuffs.  I wanted a nicer pair of flat boots that would be comfortable to walk in during trips to the city (thinking ahead for NYFW), and for my upcoming trip to London, so I scooped up this pair of studded combat boots during the Shopbop sale early in the season.  And lastly, I had my heart SET on this pair of Dr. Marten platform combat boots and hunted down my size for MONTHS.  I finally found them in stock and couldn’t be happier with the purchase — they are definitely on the edgy side, but are so fun and give me a few inches while being extremely comfortable).  They are also waterproof — a no brainer for our New England winters!
