SOME OF MY FAVORITE SPRING TRENDS
Romantic Blouses. I love blouses for spring and summer and obviously LOVE anything blush. I found this one from BCBGeneration at Walmart and have already styled it a few different ways. It looks gorgeous with my black jeans and wedges, but it looks JUST as cute dressed down with a pair of light wash denim and mules. Blouses are so easy and effortless to throw on in the spring and are so versatile. You can also pair with a pencil skirt to dress up for the office or a pair of cutoff denim shorts and boots for festival season. I love when you can get several looks out of one piece.
Cropped Denim. One of my go-to denim brands is Levi’s — they make some of my favorite pairs of jeans and are SUCH an amazing price point. I had been looking for a pair of ankle cropped black skinny jeans and was so happy when I stumbled across this pair. The shorter hem makes them ideal to wear with sandals and slides while still remaining sleek — plus, the high-rise on these makes them insanely comfortable and perfect for everyday!
Espadrille Wedges. While I love my other platform wedges, sometimes it’s nice to have a more moderate heel height like this Vince Camuto pair. The black leather on these makes them a little dressier and they work for both daytime and nighttime looks.
I’m loving Walmart’s ‘We Dress America’ campaign and they encouraged me to shoot this outfit in a fun spot in Connecticut. I’m all about the cute coffee house vibe and Marissa and I are always looking for the best spots to work from — cute coffee houses always give us major inspo and get those creative juices flowing! We loved stopping by QAWA Coffee in Middletown, CT — how adorable is their decor?! And, speaking of adorable — I have another really fun outfit to share with you guys that I think you’ll LOVE next month from Walmart featuring some more of my favorite brands, can’t wait to share soon!
