We’re at the time where the holidays have come and gone, and we’re just stuck in that middle of winter limbo. Spring clothes have already hit the shelves, brands are already asking me to promote swimwear (really?! have you looked outside?!), and it’s hard AF to look cute AND stay warm at the same time. I’m rounding up FIVE of my favorite pieces this year that will hopefully make winter a little more bearable!
THE SHERPA FLEECE PULLOVER
Think: an upgraded Old Navy Performance Fleece from 1998. These are so in right now and I’m taking total advantage. The one I’m wearing here has been in and out of stock for the last couple of months, but I found a few other pullovers (and zip ups) that will do the job! Wear casually with a pair of jeans and snow boots or a little more dressed with a pair of black jeans and OTK boots!
A COZY KNIT SWEATER
I purchased this Free People sweater back in the fall and have worn it countless ways. Look for one that hits right at your hips and pair with skinny or cropped denim, a pair of leather leggings, over fitted dresses with OTK boots, and even with joggers!
THE TEDDY BEAR COAT
I’ve had this coat I’m wearing here for the last four seasons, but LOVE that the “teddy bear coat” trend is really making a name for itself this season. Throwing one of these on (in any color or pattern) instantly takes your look to the next level — even all black! Plus, you’re warm and cozy. Is that a win-win or what?!
A CUTE PAIR OF WINTER BOOTS
Stylish and practical, these have become acceptable to wear just about anywhere. And now is the time to invest — there are a lot of boots that are on sale (if you can find your size), and you’ll be over-prepared for next year!
SOME FAUX LEATHER PANTS
I’ve actually been on the hunt for another pair of these because mine have been worn to the ground. I prefer mine with pockets, so they actually look like pants as opposed to leggings, and I love tucking in my tops and sweaters, but I’m rounding up both options below!
