I’m kicking off this week holding myself to what I talked about on the blog Friday — if you missed me chatting about my “goals” for 2017, make sure to check it out to catch up! Thanks so much for all your sweet comments, emails, and Instagram and Snapchat messages about my thoughts on shopping this year… I can tell a lot of you are in the same boat! I will definitely make sure to incorporate pieces you’ve seen here on the blog before into as many outfits as possible and will continue to talk about investment pieces that you can get years of wear out of items you purchase! As much as I try to keep a mix of high and low price points on Oh So Glam to make everyone happy, I think it’s important to note that fast fashion is not always budget friendly!
This camel coat is a VIP in my wardrobe and honestly one of my favorite pieces ever. There is something so chic and yet so effortless about a well-tailored camel coat and I recommend you invest in one this season if you haven’t already! I’ve been featuring this same coat for at least three years here on the blog and while watching Home Alone this holiday season, I noticed the mom wearing the most chic f-ing camel coat I’ve ever seen… so you know this is a classic. Mine was actually a higher priced item at H&M (one of their limited collections), but I found a couple of options for you at different price points! This one is almost identical (and on major sale) and this one is a great option as well that includes a belt!
Another item worth mentioning that I’ve talked about recently? A pair of ankle-length raw hem jeans (without any rips throughout the legs). We will definitely see denim moving toward this trend and if you want to get a running start on it, invest now! I absolutely love the pair I’m wearing above (they fit true to size for reference) and also love this lighter wash pair I featured on Friday’s post. If you’re looking for something under $100, try this pair under $80!
