I told you it was going to be fall madness here on the blog this week!  If you missed my post from apple picking yesterday, make sure to check it out!

One of my favorite fall activities is pumpkin picking (for obvious reasons for all you PSL obsessed gals), but beyond the regular fall excitement, this little farm is really special to me.  I actually grew up in the hills right behind the pumpkin fields and sunflowers, and my parents are still at that very house!  We came to this farm every year as a family for as long as I can remember growing up, so my mom and I have kept up the tradition the last few years – making sure to come and pick out our pumpkins together for fall decorating!  It really is as picturesque as it looks!  A huge thanks to my mom for snapping these photos… I’m ready to hire you full-time anytime you want! 😉

What did I come home with, you may ask?  A bunch of those little white pumpkins from above – because, seriously… how adorable are they?!  I have a weakness for them and a serious hoarding problem when it comes to mini pumpkins.  They are just too cute – I WANT THEM ALL.  I also got my hands on that perfect grey/green/blue pumpkin that reminded me of Cinderella and perfectly matches Mischa the Himalayan Cat!  I also got a few of those green/white and orange/white striped pumpkins that I love to decorate the dining room table with!

I layered my favorite flannel and distressed denim with this insanely cozy sweater jacket from Michael Stars.  I loooove the color of this sweater.  Is it a neutral?  Is it pink?  Is it purple?  It’s kind of all of the above and I absolutely adore it.  I love anything in muted tones and love that it’s heavy enough to wear as a coat for the time being.  Also, I mentioned yesterday, but a few of the flannels I wear all the time are on sale – so make sure to check these out!

I have the inside scoop on a MAJOR sale happening tomorrow – so I’ll be listed out all of my favorites bright and early tomorrow AM, so make sure to look for that!
