5 Trends I’m Excited to Wear Again for Fall

I can’t even believe fall is just in a few weeks.  You all know I’m all about my cozies and fall fashion, so while I’m VERY excited to dress for my favorite season, I’m also extremely sad to let summer go entirely — especially with everything going on this year!  To keep things positive around here, I’m rounding up some trends I’m excited to keep wearing this fall!

KNEE HIGH BOOTS

I moved far away from the over-the-knee boot trend last fall and am so happy to see more knee high and slouchy boots back for more this year!  Not only are they way easier to wear and layer (without having to pull on and off with the help of a friend, haha), it’s a much more casual/wearable trend that feels chic yet effortless.

BODYSUITS

I love bodysuits even more so in the cooler months because they are THE BEST layering piece without feeling like you’re wearing 100 layers where things get all bunchy.  I really look for quality in a bodysuit and Revolve and Abercrombie make some of my favorite styles that last — can’t wait to wear these styles under cardigans and suede jackets again this season!

COMBAT BOOTS

I feel like a classic combat boot never goes out of style and can be stylish yet very practical.  I wore this pair all over London last fall and even though traveling will be non-existent this year, these boots will still get their use!  The lugged sole makes them perfect all-weather boots that will keep your feet dry and stable on ice and in rain.

CROPPED CARDIGANS

Who doesn’t love a cardigan sweater?!  My closet is filled with them!  But, last season, I added a few cropped cardigans (another 90’s trend still making the rounds) and I was hooked!  Not only can you wear it as a pullover sweater, but it could also be unbuttoned and layered — which makes it extremely versatile!  Pair with highwaisted jeans or skirt, layer over a slip dress, or even throw on with a pair of joggers for a more casual look!  This is by far the most practical trend again this season that will get a TON of use in my wardrobe!

TEDDY COATS

There’s nothing like bundling up in what feels like a Barefoot Dreams blanket, so I couldn’t be more on board with teddy coats and have been FOR YEARS.  I love that you can dress them up or down and they keep you pretty warm while feeling stylish and cozy!  There are so many styles back in stock and on sale this year!
