September here in the Northeast is usually sticky and humid.  While everyone is getting excited about PSL and sweater season, we’re usually still experiencing an Indian Summer.  This year, the weather has cooled down significantly earlier than usual, and I’ve been able to (comfortably) break out some fall staples.  I love nothing more than an easy uniform — mine usually consists of jeans and some sort of tee or white top, and I’m able to layer accessories to create a look.  My Mother Denim jeans are SO worth the investment (I purchased these last fall and they’ve been going strong all year).  I also love this silk button down top.  A bit of a splurge, but it’s another piece that has been in my wardrobe for years.

After you start with those staple pieces, you can layer on the accessories or any other trend to make these basics a little more interesting.  For fall, I’m all about this suede moto jacket (that I scooped up early during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale).  I also love these under $100 mule heels.  Guys, seriously…  I was at NYFW and multiple people thought they were Chanel (#iwish).   They are very comfortable for a heel and I was able to walk all around the city in them for hours on end.

Two other must have staples this fall?  A great black bag and a chic black belt.  I love this bag under $300 and found a very similar style belt for under $50.

I’m gearing up for a BUSY week here at Oh So Glam HQ.  We’re heading off to Lebanon and the South of France for just under two weeks!  Later this week on the blog, I’ll be sharing some tips on how to survive overnight flights.  Plus, I have some fun looks from NYFW!
