I’m teaming up with my friends at Old Navy today to show you a fall look as part of the #50Styles50States campaign – and you guessed it, I’m Connecticut!  No that we’re officially into September and summer is winding down,  it’s time to pull out those lightweight layers in CT. We’re still in that in between period where it’s hot one minute and cool the next, so having a few layering pieces to throw on when needed is essential for September.  I love these transitional pieces from Old Navy – and when the weather starts to cool off, I start to mix rich neutrals with wardrobe basics for a go-to uniform so I can get out of the door.

This camel open front cardigan drapes in all the right places and this pair of cropped raw-hem jeans are perfectly on trend but still wearable and comfortable!  Accessories are a great way to try out new trends without feeling overwhelmed, like these fun lace-up heels and wrap around suede choker.
