It’s been a little while since I have shared my beauty routine with you, so this post has been a long time coming. I’ve really switched up what I like to focus on for a natural look and now love to play up my eyebrows and lips – but it all starts with a flawless complexion! I’m teaming up with Real Techniques once again today to let you in on my little secret to getting the best full coverage look – the Miracle Complexion Sponge! You can get this sponge at Real Techniques and Ulta through January 2017!
Sponge blenders are definitely having a moment right now and there are so many to choose from! What I love about this blender is the shape – the flat edge lets you contour easily around your eyes and nose and the precision tips helps cover any small imperfections (blemishes/dark spots). Of course, a smooth, hydrated face gives any liquid foundation a great base to work with – so here is my exact routine (including current favorite products) to achieve this look.
It all starts with serum. I apply this serum to my freshly cleansed skin using this face brush – which helps to smooth any fine lines and wrinkles and also helps to hydrate skin.
Eye Cream. I love this eye cream under makeup because it helps to smooth, brighten, and de-puff. It’s also blue which helps mask any dark circles. Plus, I love anything with cucumber – the cooling technology is perfect for those early mornings!
Moisturize. I make sure to apply a thin layer of moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day – and to keep my foundation from drying out. I’ve shared my love for this moisturizer in the past – I swear, it has changed my skin. The price point is a bit aggressive, but the bottle is supposed to last at least 8 months.
Apply liquid foundation. Using the Miracle Complexion blender, I pat this full coverage foundation onto my skin – layering where needed. I make sure to use the flat edge to blend around my nose and under my eyes (even on my eyelids) and work the foundation around my jawline and neck.
Under Eye Concealer. I actually used to apply my concealer before adding any foundation, but recently learned that it’s much more effective to apply last. This is actually my new favorite (I’m currently using the medium shade but will likely switch to the light shade now that summer and my current tan is fading away). I apply with my ring finger (as you should when applying anything around your eyes) and work the concealer into my under eyes and eye lids.
Contour! I actually did a post with Real Techniques a few months back about adding easy contouring into your everyday beauty look. I know the term “contour” can seem intimidating – but it’s life changing once you get the hang of it. Who needs the botox filter on Snapchat when you know how to contour?! This is currently my favorite palette!
Play up your eyebrows and lips. Like I mentioned, these two areas are what I currently love to focus on for an everyday look. I use this brow box to fill in my eyebrows and a nude lipliner only to give me a full pout. And since I have eyelash extensions, I leave my eyes be (usually no liner) for a natural look.
Real Techniques has an entire collection of beauty tools at an affordable price-point, including some other Miracle Sponges for sculpting and erasing. Make sure to check out my previous Real Techniques post for contouring as well!

A huge thanks to Real Techniques for sponsoring today’s post.

September 18, 2016 at 8:58 pmI adore Real Techniques, and I’m a big fan of the sponge no matter what kind it is. There’s something different than the beauty blender, and I still haven’t pinpointed to myself what the exact difference is! But I do love this one and I find it so useful, it truly gives the best complexions and it looks so natural! xx Adaleta Avdic

October 8, 2016 at 7:00 amI loved your products. I am thinking to include these skin care products with my skin care products. Hoping this will make a great combo with my products. But I think including face wash will complete this skin care kit.
