I have a few looks from NYFW that I can’t wait to show, including this Free People jumpsuit look I wore on the official first day!  I wore it to a few brand meetings, showroom appointments and the Marissa Webb show that afternoon and everyone thought it was a maxi dress!  For the first 4 days of the week, Ashley from The Teacher Diva, Bethany from B Soup and Ashley from Side Smile Style all stayed at HGU (more on that below) and tackled the week together – it’s always so much more fun with girlfriends!

After countless seasons at NYFW (9 to be exact), I just know that stilettos – or any type of heel for that matter – just aren’t practical for the 14 hour days.  I snagged these mesh sneakers (after seeing my friend Lou with them in the Hamptons a couple weeks ago) and my feet were thanking me.

If you saw my Snapchat from that day, you know we stopped by the Julie Vos showroom for breakfast with their team (love them!) and to see the new fall collection.  Julie Vos is known for her pendants – I wear this coin pendant all the time here on Oh So Glam – so she updated her classic styles with some new semi precious stones and designs.  I picked out this ‘mother of pearl’ pendant to wear with this outfit and learned that the necklace can also be worn short! #lifemade I also picked up a few other gorgeous pieces that will be featured on the blog soon!

As I mentioned above, our squad stayed at HGU – the perfect location in my opinion for anything NYFW.  We were only 2 blocks down and a few avenues away from the main hub of NYFW and blocks away from most showrooms and brand meetings.  Not only was the location on point, but this hotel is an Instagram lover’s dream (that bathroom !!!) – please note some of the photos below and you’ll understand how we were in picture heaven!  HGU has been open since 1905 but recently renovated and reopened about a month ago!  I was so excited to stay with them this season and their staff was so good to us (and all our luggage)!  A huge thanks to HGU for hosting us and we can’t wait to be back!
