We all know I have a thing for a good off-the-shoulder top so when I saw this one had frilling sleeves, I knew I had to have it.  I love balancing out girlie details with edgier or more laid-back pieces, so pairing this white top with these distressed boyfriend jeans really helped give the look exactly what I was going for.  These jeans were actually fitting more like skinny jeans for me over the winter – so I guess all the working out and eating kale salads is really doing something!  Either that, or they stretched out.  We’ll pretend it’s the first one.

I also rewore these lace-up gladiator sandals (that are under $60 by the way) – you can see how I styled them a few weeks back here.  I’m also packing them up and bringing them with me on my trip this weekend.  I’m heading off to D.C. for the night on Sunday and spending next week in the Outerbanks with some of my best blogger gals.  Any recommendations you have for that area are MUCH appreciated!  I’m so excited to visit the Outerbanks for the first time!

I’m also excited because I found an old favorite pair of sunglasses that I had hidden away in an old purse – it was basically like Christmas morning when I found them.  Does that happen to anyone else?  These Karen Walker sunglasses were last featured on Oh So Glam waaaay back in 2014 – they were one of my favorite “big” purchases back in 2012.  You can see some other ways I’ve styled them throughout the years here, here, and here!  I always love a good throwback – it is Flashback Friday after all!
