And we’re off! If you haven’t heard, Raj and I are taking a very belated honeymoon (a good 10 months late) and traveling throughout Italy for the next couple of weeks… 18 days to be exact! Although our wedding seems like it was already ages ago, it’s honestly kind of fun that we’re still celebrating! Since we planned our wedding so quickly last August, planning a huge honeymoon was just not in the cards for us for right after our wedding… plus, we couldn’t find a few spare weekends in a row without missing out on our friend’s weddings, bridal showers, and bachelor/bachelorette weekends! When the wedding dust finally settled last fall, we started planning out our big trip and settled on Italy – and we wanted to wait until the best month to go. So, here we are!
Things are going to be pretty quiet here on the blog front for the next few weeks, as I really want to be in the moment as much as possible. I worked non-stop throughout my wedding last year and even during our mini-moon to Newport, RI last summer… so this is a well-deserved break. It’s honestly the first time in almost 5 years that my Out Of Office is on!
Don’t worry… I will still be keeping up with Instagram and Snapchat here and there and will be sharing moments from our trip when we have a little down time. Plus, I’ll have SO MUCH CONTENT when we return later in June. I’ll be working on some travel guides for all the locations we’ll be visiting: Milan, Lake Como, Venice, Florence, Amalfi Coast and Rome!
Make sure to follow along with me on Instagram and Snapchat for #aGLAMhoneymoon and #GLAMtraveldiary! And a huge thank you for all your support and recommendations for this trip so far!

June 8, 2016 at 5:20 pmOh, how fun! My beau and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Italy last month! We visited the same places except we did the Cinque Terre instead of Amalfi and Lake Como. It’s a beautiful country.
