You guys loved my last home decor post so much (it happened to be the post with the most amount of traffic in late February/March) so I’m excited to be doing another and incorporating a bit more home content into Oh So Glam!  As I mentioned in my last post, we took a lot of furniture from our old condo and made due with it for as long as possible – really not wanting to re-do rooms in this house with all new pieces since we’re renting and will likely be purchasing a house within the year.  Last spring, we finally upgraded our couch (after a few months of searching) and Raja and his mom surprised me with it for my bridal shower!  I had wanted a neutral (yet durable) couch so we only upgraded one and left the loveseat – as it wasn’t in as bad shape.  Raja had found it at Raymour and Flanigan – and it received so much social media love that I know a few people who went out and bought it too!  Fast forward to now, another year went by and we really wanted the room to come together like we imagined.  I’m partnering with my friends at Raymour & Flanigan to do a mini living room makeover and am excited to share a little bit of inspiration before doing the full reveal post in the next couple of weeks!

We knew we wanted to keep the look mismatched and loved our other leather sofa but I was looking for something a bit more sophisticated and loved this Saddler Leather Sofa from Raymour & Flanigan.  From the button tufting to the real Italian leather, it took us all of 2 minutes to say “SOLD” and I am in love… with a sofa.  We also upgraded our glass coffee table to this rustic wood and metal one (which also has a matching end table).  I love that the room now has a casual, yet cozy feel and is so inviting.  I love that the pieces we chose from Raymour & Flanigan all go together – even though they technically aren’t even part of the same collection.  It gives a mixed and matched look that still feels really put together and well thought out.

We had also been on the hunt for a neutral rug but also needed something durable since it’s a high-traffic room and we spend a majority of our time there.  I love this one from nuLOOM and it really makes the room feel nice and cozy without overpowering.  I’m going to be doing a giveaway soon so stay glued to my Instagram!

Make sure to come back to see the full room reveal in the next couple of weeks!
