My Top Ten Picks

ONE

T3 Micro Whirl Trio Set.  By far, my most used hair tool over the last FIVE years.  Yes, I’ve had this set for that long and it’s just as perfect as ever!  I love the interchangeable wands — tapered, 1″ & 1.5″ — that gives you the ability to create so many hair styles and different kinds of curls, all with one base.  I typically use the 1″ the most for my everyday waves — but love the tapered wand for a more beachy look and the 1.5″ for a perfect effortless bend.

TWO

Charlotte Tilbury “Pillow Talk” Lipstick & Liner.  Another go-to I’ve been using for years, this is the most perfect nude lip combo (with a hint of pink) that looks so natural and effortless — plus, it’s creamy and hydrating. It now comes in a medium shade for those with darker skin, but I prefer the original for my fair skin!  The liner is super important (& a perfect match), as it helps give the appearance of larger lips and also helps keep the lip combo stay put for hours.  It also comes in a mini set if you want to try it out!

THREE

Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops.  You all have seen me share these on my Instagram stories so much over the past 2 years, and for good reason — I use these every single day!  I mix a drop into my everyday moisturizer for a natural looking glow (that washes off when I take my makeup off).  I love wearing this combo on both makeup free days and under my regular makeup routine!

FOUR

Artis Elite Oval 7 Brush.  Hands down, the best foundation brush out there and worth every single penny.  It helps you seamlessly apply foundation using minimal product (save that $$$) while blending perfectly into your skin.  This has been such a game changer for me and I’ve noticed how much better (and natural) my skin looks overall after using it!

FIVE

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil.  Get ready to be WOWed by this stuff — because, it’s a one-stop shop that does it all.  Add a little in to the ends your hair for smoothness, use on your fingernails for cuticle oil, mix a few drops into your body moisturizer for extra hydration + use as a face oil before bed.  It’s 100% argan oil and cold pressed — so this stuff is as legit as it gets.

SIX

NuFace Trinity Toning Device.  I’ve had this for about a year and when I use it regularly (for about 5 minutes a day), I notice a huge difference in my face contour — especially around my jawline.  This is a pretty pricey little machine, so worth it to grab it on sale!  With med spas all closed for the foreseeable future, it’ll be important to be able to do some of these treatments at home.  This device always helps with fine lines and wrinkles and comes in a smaller version as well!

SEVEN

Tarte Toasted Eyeshadow Palette.  You all know I’m extremely picky with my eyeshadow and typically gravitate towards cream shadows for ease of use.  I love so many Tarte products (they are hands down one of my favorite makeup lines), but I think this palette on sale is the best bang for your buck.  I like to start off with a thin layer of neutral cream eyeshadow (in shade JEAN) and then use a few of colors from this palette on top to achieve whatever eye look I’m going for.  Starting off with the cream eyeshadow and layering on top allows me to blend these colors together without creating the typical eyeshadow mess (from fallout) and also keeps it put on my eyes all day long.  I particularly love this palette because they are all warmer tones that go better with my skin tone, but there’s also another palette called Tarte In Bloom that has more neutral and cool shades.

EIGHT

Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Turban.  If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I swear by these!  I have several of these (including both the turbans and hair towels) and they are hands down the best brand.  I love to partially air dry my hair before blowing it out with my Dyson, but also try to avoid damaging heat as much as possible.  My hair doesn’t dry nicely naturally — I deal with a ton of frizz, random curls and waves (that aren’t cute), and a lot of cowlics.  After I get out of the shower with wet hair, I run a comb through it to break up any tangles and wrap my hair in one of these hair turbans for about 20 minutes (usually when I’m doing my makeup).  It helps absorb the moisture while keeping your hair from frizzing.  It cuts drying time by about half — which protects from unnecessary heat damage, helps with breakage, and keeps that hair color locked.

NINE

Drunk Elephant Baby Facial Mask.  Missing those facials?  This is a great alternative.  When I feel like I need a good reset, this is one of my favorite masks to use.  I apply a layer on my face at nighttime and let it sit for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with cool water and following up with a hydrating moisturizer or face oil.  You can FEEL this stuff working while it’s on the skin — with a slight tingle.  It helps resurface the skin for better skin clarity, texture and tone.  Legit baby skin in 20 minutes!

TEN

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Setting Powder.  I talk about this stuff so much as part of my eye concealer routine — a routine I haven’t stopped since quarantine started, because, let’s face it — it makes me feel put together (much needed right now).  I always always always set my undereye concealer with this setting powder and a damp beauty blender!  It stays put all day, doesn’t crease, and hides those nasty dark circles I deal with!
