Two things I’m currently loving?  Bodysuits and cropped denim.  Let’s start up at the top.  I saw this gorgeous ruffle floral print shirt and then saw it was a bodysuit and… it became a quick YES for me.  SOLD.  You gals know I’m all about “the tuck” — I tuck just about everything in, and bodysuits make that a whole lot easier.  My waist is a good amount smaller than my hips, so tucking shirts into whatever bottom I’m wearing helps accentuate my curves and give me more definition.  That’s the reasoning behind “the tuck” in case it was keeping you up at night to know.  Moving on to the bottom…

High-waisted cropped jeans are it for me this season and I’ve been adding a few different colors and washes to my wardrobe slowly over the past year.  No one makes high-waisted denim like GRLFRND Denim (which is Revolve’s house denim brand) and it was no exception with this cropped pair.  If you’re thinking that the cropped pants won’t carry you into winter, I have some good news for you, my friends.  The cropped denim trend was huge on all the runways during last NYFW and with boots getting slimmer around the ankle, it makes for a pretty perfect match.

If you’re new to both trends, take it slow and one at a time.  You can totally rock this bodysuit with a pair of skinny jeans and heels or try out these cropped jeans with a tucked in tee for a laid back look.  It’s all about doing whatever you’re comfortable with and rocking that.
