Well, it’s officially October (believe it or not), which really kick starts the fall temperatures here in CT.  Bring on the coziness – it’s officially sweater and boot season!  Since I work from home, I always tend to invest in loungewear since I spend a majority of my time in it.  I love buying pieces that I can wear around the house, but that are also structured enough to wear outside as well.  These Koolaburra by UGG ankle boots are a recent addition earlier this season, and I’ve been living in them ever since I took them out of the box!

Koolaburra is UGG’s little sister brand – with some fun, newer styles at a great price point!  I’ve been a fan of the brand’s boots and slippers since high school, and was excited to add these grey classic mini boots to my cozy collection.  I love this ankle style – warmer than slippers but a little sleeker than the tall pair I always tended to buy in the past.  It’s easy to throw them on with whatever I’m wearing around the house and hard to take them off – I’m guilty of running errands in them too!

A few other pieces I love to live in this time of year?  This oversized sweater is about as soft as it gets and is one of my favorite go-to pieces all year round (it also looks great over denim shorts).  I also own a few pair of these waffle-knit leggings, and love wearing them under a longer sweater or oversized cardigan.
