I got to spend a beautiful (but freaking cold) day back in my hometown at the local tree farm with my mom this weekend! You may remember me and my mom spending a fall day back in October at the same property doing a little pumpkin picking! This time we went to scope out some gorgeous wreathes and decor and have a little hot chocolate with a view! I love heading over to Jones Tree Farm and any of the Jones Family Farms properties during the fall and winter months. Not only are they in my parent’s backyard (literally), but visiting always gets me in the holiday spirit!
You can see in some of the photos that a light snow had just started to fall as soon as we arrived, so I was glad I had my black parka with me (which is now on sale for $60 by the way and also comes in green)! If you don’t have one of these casual coats, put one on your Christmas list ASAP! I also brought out these new hiking boots which I got for a few winter trips coming up! I have to give a huge shoutout to my mom once again for helping with photos during this little adventure!
If you missed my gift guide for the guys that hit the blog yesterday, make sure to check it out! I also have a few fun posts in the works for this week including a Secret Santa reveal I worked on with Vince Camuto and some of my favorite bloggers, and a little holiday entertaining post! Plus, we’re SO close to revealing our dining room makeover!

December 13, 2016 at 12:49 pmLove your whole outfit, and the perfect setting for a photo shoot! Wow….I’ve never been down that way. Since I’m in the Northwest Corner used to go tree hunting in our area, but your way looks very nice. How are the wines? The Jones seem to have everything covered!!
