Is this sweater not perfect for this time of year?!  Obviously, Valentine’s Day has come and gone (see yaaaa to my least favorite holiday), BUT, spring is on the horizon, and this outfit has traces of it written all over!  I’ve mentioned on my Instagram and here on the blog before, but my rule this time of year is to only make purchases that can 100% carry me into spring.  This sweater and these booties are PERFECT and both on sale for under $100 right now.

This turtleneck tucked into a pair of “mom” jeans has been my go-to for the last several weeks — I’ve just been keeping this as a base and throwing on a different top layer for an easy outfit formula.  I love it paired with a chunky cardigan, a suede jacket, and even with an oversized v-neck sweater pulled over the whole top.  These jeans are a great fit for me — GRLFRND Denim is a bit pricey, but the quality and fit make them worth the price point for me!  If you love the look of this denim (but hate the price), I found THESE SIMILAR JEANS for half of the cost!  Make sure to check out my other SPLURGE vs. STEAL post with a bunch of designer items listed!
