Back to Basics
100% Cashmere sweater (gift), Seven For All Mankind black sknnies, Jessica Simpson pumps, Michael Kors watch and bangles.
Sometimes, you just have to keep it simple. I love piling on the accessories and trying fun trends, but I went back to basics with this outfit, including neutral colors. I wish I knew where this top was from, it’s amazingly soft and comfortable, but not too bulky. My black skinnies have already been used more than I thought… these have become my go-to pants, $50 from Century 21, one of my finer bargain deals.
If this rain holds up, there will be more indoor pictures this week, or I’ll be forced to break out my Hunter Rain Boots… actually, that’s not a bad idea.

Polish Yourself This Holiday Season
Spring and summer have usually been the time for me to experiment with crazy nail polish colors… I started wearing Essie’s Turquoise and Caicos this spring and my grandma actually looked at me and said, “You know you’re wearing GREEN nail polish?”
During the winter months, I usually play it safe with extremely dark colors (browns, purples, blues and straight-up black). But with THIS many gorgeous nail colors this season… I’ve sworn to be more expressive this year.
What colors are you interested in wearing this Holiday season?

Black & Gold
Fur jacket via Dillard’s, Urban Outfitters tee, Seven For All Mankind black skinnies, Glittered Heels from boutique in San Diego, Michael Kors watch, Forever 21 necklace and gold bangles. Nail Polish: Wicked by Essie.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! My 4-day weekend felt amazing, but went by way too fast! My mom had picked up this cropped black fur jacket from Dillard’s for me back in the spring (and also got me one in beige, thanks Mom!) and I couldn’t wait to bring it out! I accessorized the rest of my outfit with plenty of GOLD (my fave) and very, very high heels!
The cheetah print on my nails is a sticker decal from Sally Hansen… I love making my nails little pieces of art!
Stay turned for more posts coming to you from Hoboken and NYC this week!
