IFBCon Recap

My week in NYC started off with the IFB Conference in SoHo last Tuesday. IFB is Independent Fashion Bloggers, a network of bloggers created by Jennine Jacob of The Coveted.  We discussed everything from the future of the fashion world, creating better content for your blog, I SPY DIY’s book deal, and heard from major key players about the business side of blogging {Lindsay from Saucy Glossie, Jessie from Style & Pepper, Erin from Apartment 34}.  We also got makeovers from bareMinerals featuring their new READY foundation {I am now obsessed and wear everyday btw} and got fun manis from Julep featuring their new Trina Turk Fall Colors.  But the best part of all was meeting bloggers from around the country… some that I already follow and admire, and others that I discovered and couldn’t believe I didn’t follow already!

The weather in NYC was not kind to us bloggers so please excuse my hair… a sock bun would have been more appropriate here! Can’t wait to show you more from my week… tune in tomorrow for Day 1 of the LuckyFABB conference!  Talk about surreal…

Bright Lights

Just a quick outfit post… I’m still in New York for Fashion Week and the IFB and LuckyFABB blogger conferences! I cannot wait to post pictures of these FAB events I’ve been attending.  I have met the most amazing people so far, from editors, to designers, celebs, and most importantly… other bloggers from around the country!  So much to share… definitely stay tuned next week!

Seasonal Spin

I’ve been craving Fall clothing for weeks but it’s still been crazy hot outside. I’ve been trying to incorporate Fall items bit by bit into my wardrobe to transition.  I love this Karen Kane vest and can’t wait to throw it on over a long-sleeved tee with a pair of cognac boots…and it’s currently on sale!
