Fur Collar Peacoat

I wore this outfit out to dinner/drinks for date night with Raj last weekend. I threw on these faux-leather shorts with black tights to get me out of my jeans rut and paired it with a long-sleeved sheer blouse (which I wasn’t brave enough to show because of the frigid cold temps)! I’m totally loving this gorgeous Karen Kane coat, and the pop of fur on the collar against the tweed makes it really unique!

I’m back to realizing just how hard style blogging is in the winter time… since it gets dark at 3pm in Connecticut, this outfit was really shot the next day (fun little fact). Spring, can you hurry up and get here?!

Four Ways to Wear: Oxblood

It’s the third round of my style collaboration with Jen of Jenny in Jacquard, Kristin of Living in Color Print, and Kacie of Kacie’s Kloset and this time we’re bringing you the hottest color of the season!  I’m talking about oxblood people!  I have really grown to love this color and added a few new pieces to my wardrobe this year including these coated H&M pants. They have gold zippers down both ankles that also look great with black pumps!

Oversized Knit

It was a perfect fall weekend and the foliage was absolutely stunning! Raj and I spent a beautiful morning in Elizabeth Park snapping pictures of the scenery and taking in the weather before it starts to get cold!  This is my absolute favorite time of year and a great reminder of why New England is one of the most beautiful places to live!
