Happy Monday, friends!  Excited to kick off a new series here on Oh So Glam called “The Trend Edit” — where I’ll be styling some of my favorite trends (in preparation for the launch of my spring magazine later on in the season).  We’re kicking off the very first trend of spring with these white ankle boots — a trend I have been loving and wearing since the fall.  I actually picked up these Free People boots before my London and Paris trip back in October.  I had been looking for a white boot and absolutely fell in love with this pair — I knew the kitten heel would be perfect for walking around the big cities to sight see and and that they would look so chic with both pants and dresses.  What I didn’t know was that I would wear them as much as I did — they were my most-worn shoe by far of the trip!  I wore them to the ground basically — and ended up taking them into my favorite shoe guy in Connecticut this past weekend for a little TLC (he just replaced the little heel cover at the bottom and cleaned them up a bit).

Ankle boots are always a go-to style of mine year round — I wear them in the fall and winter obviously, but for spring, an ankle bootie is super practical as well… especially around here where it can still get chilly at night into May/June.  These boots will look so cute with a floral mini dress like this one (that’s on sale)!  If you’re looking for a little height instead of the kitten heel, this pair is under $50 and have a similar look (just with a little bit of a higher heel).  I also love this pair for $60 — I have a feeling this block heel style will be huge for festival season coming right up!
