Another one of my favorite looks from this season of NYFW!  I really aimed to bring along outfits that were comfortable and stylish, all while remaining weather appropriate.  Doing so meant lots of layers (and sometimes even multiple coats) and lots of cold-weather accessories!

I wore this suede jacket on the blog a few weeks back and restyled it with this Self Portrait lace top and matching suede skirt (currently on sale) for a sort of boho/western look that was beyond comfortable.  I am a huge fan of the button-down skirt trend and loved that it carried from right from summer in suede.  I’m heading to Mexico later this week and will be bringing along my button-down denim skirt and am looking forward to continue to style this trend in spring!  I also cannot say enough good things about these Stuart Weitzman OTK boots.  They have a hefty price tag but have been worth every penny for me.  I wore these every single day while in the city and was comfortable standing the entire time.  They also provided an extra layer of fabric and helped keep the wind out during the minus 25 wind chill… seriously, that happened.  As happy as I am to (hopefully) have spring on the horizon, it looks like the over-the-knee trend is here to stay from the looks of it on the runways for next fall/winter, and I’ll most definitely be investing in another pair for next season!
