Officially a non-flocked girl again and honestly… I forgot how pretty a classic green tree can be. We put up our 9ft Alpine Fir from @kingofchristmas in our living room and the kids were in their glory “helping” (Leo placing all the ornaments in one spot and then taking pictures, Layla trying to climb it… and dumping out a glitter filled ornament). Feels like the season is really here. 💫 The rest of the room still needs to be decorated and we need ornaments on our family room tree, but one day at a time 😂 it’s a little tough with two toddlers and two cats! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. 🤎 Ours was cozy and slow, and it gave me a minute to think about how much has shifted this year. There’s been a lot of growth. Some of it hard, some of it really good. Starting the podcast, finding my rhythm again on here, and building a community that actually feels like real connection has meant more to me than I can explain. And through all of it, Raj has been the steady one. I’m grateful for him, for our little family, and for the people who choose to be part of this corner of the internet with me. And honestly… the cats, too. The first borns and original kids. They’ve held me together more times than I can count this year.
