Best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Happy Friday, girls!  The Nordstrom Aniversary Sale has finally opened to those of you who don’t have a Nordstrom card!  Luckily for you, there are still a TON of good deals, so don’t feel like you missed anything!  I’ve scoured the sale once again for my favorite finds and rounded them up to make shopping a breeze!  You can shop directly for an item by clicking the little pink + sign, or any of the links within the post!

The outerwear portion of this sale is strong this year and it’s always great to stock up on staple pieces!  I have an extremely similar Tahari wrap coat from a few seasons back and was excited to see that this style is still around – and for around $150, it’s a great investment that won’t break the bank!  I had been on the hunt for a tan leather coat and found a few great styles while I was perusing the sale!  This gorgeous one also caught my eye and is a great price point – but I ended up snagging this jacket for under $65!  I also grabbed this white bouclé coat since it was the first thing that caught my eye when I got a preview of the sale a few weeks back!  I’ve always wanted a white coat for winter and was so happy with the quality of this coat – another Tahari coat I’m hoping to have for seasons to come!  If you’re looking for a faux leather jacket – Blank NYC makes some of my favorite and this one is such a steal!  The quality looks great – I actually thought it was a real leather jacket before I looked at the price!  Score!  And last but not least – if you haven’t been able to snag yourself a camel coat for fall/winter, I highly recommend this one!  I’ve had mine for years and always get so many questions on it, and I plan to wear it all year again!

Although I didn’t grab any sweaters yet from the Nordstrom sale, there were a few that caught my eye that I wore a ton last season!  You all loved my white lace-up sweater that I wore all spring, and this one looks extremely similar + has a cozy hood on the back!  I also have a very similar light grey chunky sweater that I wore with everything from jeans to sweatpants!  This sleeveless turtleneck sweater is also a gorgeous find – and a great fall staple that could be dressed up or down.  I also loved this black plain poncho sweater that comes in a few different colors!  I have a similar one from Vince from years ago that I always get asked about, and this is about as close at it gets!  I also love chunky cardigan sweaters and live in them when it gets cold – so this grey one is right up my alley and comes in a few colors as well!

The denim this year is incredible and there are so many styles that are still completely in stock!  These frayed ankle skinny jeans are the perfect amount of distressed and will look so cute with sweaters and fall booties!  If you’re looking for a pair of black denim – a couple of you even snapped me and mentioned you are – I got you girlfriends.  I love this pair and trust me, you will NOT want to spend $200 on them when they go up in price!  You all know by now how I feel about the raw hem trend, but I’m also really into cropped pants at the moment and I’m trying so hard to convince myself I don’t NEED this pair of Joe’s Jeans from the sale… let’s see how long that lasts this week.  I have something so, so similar, but I love the cut on this pair so much more.  This Blank Denim pair is a no-brainer for anyone looking for a staple pair of distressed denim.  I bought these at the full price and they are now only $55!  I’ve had them for over a year and a half and they are still one of my favorite pair!  This KUT pair of jeans is a good option if you’re loving the raw hem trend but hate the price tag of the Joe’s Jeans I found – they’re seriously so similar!

I think the shoes were my favorite part of the sale this year – so much better than I ever expected!  I had only been looking at one pair of boots that I KNEW I wanted and would make good use out of this season – but I’ll admit, I totally bought these flats when I saw the price!  I just got a similar pair of lace-up heels in grey that have my heart aching for fall, so I wanted to include them on my list because I think this is going to be a huge trend this season!  If you’re looking for a great pair of OTK boots that look similar to the Stuart Weitzman pair I talk about here way too much – I think this pair is pretty damn close!  This leather pair is also a great dupe for the flat 5050 pair I wore when Raja proposed to me!  I also snagged these rag & bone booties last year in tan during the anniversary sale – and I wore them all year round!  Definitely worth the investment.  I love that I’m still getting use out of pieces I’ve bought in the sale before!

I’ll be keeping my eye on the sale over the next couple of weeks and will be adding my picks for beauty and home next week as well!

Make sure to stop by Monday to see what I’m packing up for Greece!  And, make sure to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat for the next two weeks as I’ll be in Greece and then heading to Puerto Rico!
