Throughout our entire home, you’ll see that we keep a pretty neutral theme. I worked on a master bedroom mini makeover last winter and continued with grey and white as the primary colors — there is just something so soothing about grey tones to me and I love keeping the rooms feeling cohesive as you walk through our home. While I loved our duvet set from last winter, I was itching to lighten things up a bit for this season and missed my white duvet (although I’m sure my washing machine on the other hand did not). I’m so excited to be teaming up with Annie Selke today to freshen up our master bedroom for spring — I added some of the softest bed linens I’ve ever felt to help lighten and brighten the overall feel of the room, all while keeping a cozy and inviting feel.
If you take a look through the Annie Selke Spring 2017 catalog, you’ll notice every room blends tones and textures effortlessly, all while feeling organic and glamorous (or “Orglamic” as they like to call it) — two things I am always drawn to. I wanted to give it a try when freshening up this space — so I added this silken white duvet cover and sheets (seriously the softest ever) as the base, and accented with some textured toss pillows and this fun pom pom throw (which my cat Mischa is clearly obsessed with). I also have to let you in on a little secret — you can sign up for Annie Selke e-mails (at the bottom of the homepage) and receive 15% off your first purchase!
Our bedroom always feel like a sanctuary for us — something we hope to find in our next home (as we continue our never-ending house hunt). Now, please excuse me while I crawl back into bed… it’s calling my name! 😉
