I really thought that once my kids got a little older, I’d have more time, more space, and things would just feel easier.

But every stage just seems to come with a different set of expectations.

It’s not the same kind of overwhelming as the baby phase, but there’s still so much to manage. It just looks different now.

And I think what’s surprised me most is that there isn’t this clear moment where everything clicks back into place and you suddenly feel like yourself again.

It’s more like you’re learning how to operate in a completely new normal.

And somewhere in the middle of that, I’ve been trying to figure out what it looks like to take care of myself again. Not in some big, dramatic reset, but in smaller ways… like actually getting dressed for the day even if I’m just home, making the bed before everything gets chaotic, trying to build routines that feel realistic for this stage.

Nothing groundbreaking, just things that help me feel a little more like me again.
