Looking Back

I love doing these looking back posts to see my style journey over the course of the year.  I’m a bit all over the place and really dress for my mood, so it’s fun to see all my different styles meshed together!  2013 was another great year for this blog – I’m a firm believer that the best things in life build slow and steady.

I couldn’t be more appreciative of YOU… my readers.  You all keep me so inspired and I’m so thankful you’ve stuck with me for another year and let me do what I love.  It’s so amazing and exciting to hear from you.  I love helping you find that perfect dress for your friend’s wedding, advising you newbie bloggers on where the heck to start off and in some cases, getting to meet you!

Doing these posts also gives me some time to reflect.  Aside from blogging, 2013 has proved to be a very interesting year.  Of course I am thankful and grateful for my loving and supportive family and friends… but this year, I’m particularly thankful for life’s challenges.  From hardships came humility, strength, and resolve.  Obstacles made way for new opportunities.  Pain has strengthened my faith and opened up my eyes to all the wonderful blessings God has given.  I am so thankful for all the bumps in the road that have reminded me how much life is worth living.
