Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! The heat was extreme here in CT so Raj and I headed to the MGM Grand at Foxwood’s pool party for some much-needed relief! We had a weekend filled with lots of food, sun, and great friends!

I was so thrilled when Banana Republic sent me this adorable bright yellow skirt to style! I had been receiving many requests from my readers to do a few outfit posts that would be work appropriate. Since I’m one of the few blessed with the ability to wear jeans to work, this skirt was the perfect way to help me showcase a spring work look! I love yellow paired with cognac accessories, which I happen to have a TON of. This skirt will definitely be making my “remixed wardrobe” looks because of its versatility! I’m thinking of pairing it with a white tank and denim jacket next, so keep a lookout!

Raj and I decided to get a Himalayan kitten for our 5 year anniversary, which is this Friday! It’s been months of searching and then waiting for her arrival, but we love her already! Her name is Mischa (hold the Barton) and she turned 2 months old on April 18th. Make sure to follow me on Instagram for more Mischa pics, I’ve been posting this cutie like crazy! @christinadefilippo

I love being able to introduce fabulous people to my loyal readers. If you don’t know Blair Ritchey, you definitely should! She’s an amaaaazing handbag designer from Pennsylvania with some real talent. I’m wearing her Lulu fold-over clutch that is made of soft genuine lambskin, lined with black brushed canvas, gold metal hardware and comes with a detachable coordinating lambskin tassel! I’ve been wearing it non-stop for weeks, from girls nights out, to date-nights with Raj, to running errands… I love it!
