Target Holiday Outfits

I’m back with Target this season to show you some easy outfit ideas for the upcoming holiday season!  I always say this, but fall and winter are actually my favorite times of year to dress for.  I love nothing more than layering some cozy favorites to create a variety of outfits that are not only stylish, but also comfortable!  The colder months allow you to get a little more creative by mixing and matching different textures, colors and patterns.  I created a few outfits to help inspire your outfit planning for the upcoming holidays!

Plaid Poncho + Sweater + Corduroys = Cozy Holiday Style

I don’t know about you, but Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday!  There’s something really special about the official kickoff of the long holiday season.  Everyone around the table, indulging in comfort food, watching football by the fire and sharing what’s on their holiday wish lists!  Since Thanksgiving is a little more of a relaxed holiday, I typically go for an outfit that is a little more on the casual side and daytime appropriate.  I’ve been loving the winter white trend again this season, so I used this staple sweater and white corduroys as the outfit base.  I then layered on this plaid poncho and over-the-knee boots for some color and added texture.  Once you’re inside and warmed up, you can even remove the faux fur collar!

Faux Fur Vest + Plaid Flannel + Leather Pants = Chic Shopping Look

I end up doing most of my holiday shopping from bed in my PJs, but if you’re braving the crowds this year, here’s what to wear to tackle your gift list and look chic doing it.  I never like to bring a coat in shopping (I end up taking it off immediately, and it’s one more thing to carry).  Layering a warm faux fur vest over a plaid pullover shirt usually does the trick for me and ends up being my go-to uniform for any type of errands!  Also, flat booties are a must!

Faux Fur + Sweater + Leather = Bold Holiday Party Look

When our weekends aren’t filled with more formal holiday events, the invites roll in for more laid-back nights with friends!  We hosted our first “Friendsgiving” this past weekend with some friends from college, and I wore a similar look.  I love the combination of the faux fur snood up against this cozy sweater.  I added even more texture-play with a leather mini skirt and OTK boots!  If the mini skirt/boot trend isn’t exactly your thing, try swapping out the boots with thick black tights and ankle booties!
