Trend Report: Geometrics

Geometrics

Today I’m teaming up with my girl Caitlin from A Little Dash of Darling to show off the geometric trend! I was so pumped when Caitlin asked me to collaborate… we had both been a fan of each other’s blog for months.  Caitlin is what I like to call a “girl crush” and someone’s wardrobe I’d like to raid.  She has a way of incorporating color into everything so effortlessly and chic… and did I mention she’s getting her law degree?  Beauty & brains.  Now I love her EVEN MORE.

{Jean Jacket: Forever 21 (old, legit from high school) || Dress: c/o Karen Kane (good option here too) || Lace Up Heels: Prabal Gurung for Target (similar at Zara) || Bag: Celine (used here) || Sunglasses: Elizabeth & James || Rings: c/o delia langan, c/o Brooklyn Designs}

I’m honestly not sure why or how these lace up heels from Target have not made the blog before considering I got them during Fashion Week in February… I literally had to go back and check through my posts because I couldn’t believe it.  They have been my go-to pump when going out at night/date night and are surprisingly comfy.  I’d recommend picking up a pair similar for spring/summer this year if you haven’t already, they are HUGE right now and are sure to only catch on to be more popular.  I am obsessed.

Make sure to check out Caitlin’s full post to see how she styled her geometric print dress and show her some love!  Happy Friday!

    I’m loving the strappy black heel trend too and my contender is your suggestion of the Zara pumps! 🙂

    I love both looks! Your dress is so cute and I love it paired with the denim jacket. Every time I see someone in those shoes I kick myself for not getting them (we didn’t get them at my local Target). I may have to break down and get the Zara pair. Love your outfit!
