A Plaid Situation

After about five straight days of freezing rain, Raj and I headed up to Boston for the weekend to get us out of the house and visit my best friend’s new pad in the South End.  We spent a gorgeous early afternoon walking around and ducking into a few spots for some Sunday fun (aka Bloody Mary’s, Sangria and oh yeah, eggs).  It always amazes me how quickly our weather changes this time of year… not only can you feel it, you can also see how crisp everything looks without that summer humidity.  I felt like a total hipster in this plaid poncho that I threw over my favorite shirred side dress (seriously, I’ve had this thing for years).  I had the hostess stop me at The Bee Hive while we were brunching and say that she liked “my whole plaid situation” I had going on and I just loved that line.  A little 90’s grunge and a little snuggie, what’s not to love about this piece?
